Bugging Out | Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden
Fairchild is crawling with excitement—literally! This summer, Bugging Out at Fairchild is bigger and buggier than ever with towering robotic insects, a brand-new walk-through butterfly pavilion, and live encounters with some of the coolest creatures in the insect kingdom. Get close to some of Martin’s live insects in Wings of the Tropics and learn more about their fascinating world at our specimen display station presented by Fairchild Garden’s staff and volunteers.

- Bug Talks: Ed`1ucational and interactive moments hosted on the Veranda in Science Village
- Bugs on Parade! It’s part dress-up, part performance, and all about having fun! (select dates)
- Wander & Glow through Garden trails, illuminated sculptures, and nocturnal magic after dark
- Buggy Bar & Boozy Blockbuster a 21+ garden party with bug-inspired small bites and craft beers (select dates)
- Outdoor movie nights featuring insect-themed favorites for all ages at Nighttime Bug Safari (select dates)

Join the mini march of the minis—bigger and buggier than ever! Kids dress up as their favorite insects and strut their stuff in a fun, interactive parade. Whether they’re fluttering, crawling, or buzzing, it’s a playful celebration of nature, creativity, and movement. Part dress-up, part performance, all fun!
