The Butterfly House
St. Louis City/County residents enjoy free admission on the first Tuesday of every month from 10 -12 p.m. Proof of residency is required. Due to high attendance, strollers are not permitted on free Tuesdays.
Missouri Botanical Garden
St. Louis City/County residents enjoy free Garden admission on Wednesday and Saturday mornings before noon (exception: special admission rate events).
The Children's Garden is free Wednesday evenings after 5pm during the summer Whitaker Music Festival and from 9am - 12pm Saturday mornings for St. Louis City/County residents (seasonal)
The Magic House
The third Friday of every month is Free Family Night; admission is free from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm for families (no more than two adults and four of their own children)
Saint Louis Zoo
While admission is free daily, some attractions within the zoo require a fee. However, during the first hour the zoo is open, admission to the Children's Zoo, the Conservation Carousel and the Stingrays at Caribbean Cove (seasonal) is free.
Saint Louis Art Museum
While the Art Museum offers free admission daily, there is often a fee for special exhibitions. Every Friday, admission to featured exhibitions is free.
The Muny
1500 free seats are available for every performance. Located in the last nine rows of the theatre, the free seats are available on a first come basis. Wheelchair accessible seating is also available in the free seats on a first come basis. The gates to the free seats open at 7:00pm each evening. Lines for the free seats begin forming as early as 4:00 pm.
