Carnaval Miami showcases the best of art, music, fashion, food, and sports through a series of captivating events that attract an average of one million attendees each year, including Carnaval on the Mile, and the largest ‘Latino’ experiential event in the country, Calle Ocho Music Festival. Carnaval Miami is powered by volunteers of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana and benefits the Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation’s youth development programs. It represents an economic impact of $40M for local artists, vendors, and small businesses throughout the Greater Miami area.

THE KIWANIS VISION

Kiwanis will be a positive influence in communities worldwide—so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive.

KIWANIS OF LITTLE HAVANA FOUNDATION

The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana established the Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation in 1987 with the mission to further assist the financially underserved Hispanic youth of Miami-Dade County. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided thousands of children each year with the opportunity to learn, dream, grow, succeed and thrive through education, technology, health and overall goodwill programs.
